ABOUT THE PROJECT
Since the start mid 90s ADE has developed and changed a lot. Ever since taking over the project from the legendary Niels 'Shoe' Meulman back in 1998 the club colours have been black and yellow and it has been the only part of the early identity that stayed untouched after creating a new one in 2004.
It started with a poster, flyer and mini booklet in the first year and before we knew we were working on international campaigns and redesigning for nonstop changing digital environments. Everything in a 22-year close collaboration with visionair and general director Richard Zijlma. Nowadays ADE is the biggest - and highly unique - clubfestival in the world as well as the must-visit multi-day dance conference for the electronic music scene.
Besides the creative direction I also published several ADE books during my time and role at Mary Go Wild as co-founder and co-owner. Mary became the official ADE store and was frequently part of the official ADE program in several ways. From the book launch and official opening night at ADE 2013 to hosting daytime Q&A's and the infamous Basement Raves.
